Festival acontecerá no dia 13 de julho, no Allianz Parque, em São Paulo O ano era 1970 quando um forte movimento black tomou conta da capital paulista e ganhou respeito no cenário musical da época. “Chic Show” foi o nome escolhido por Luiz Alberto da Silva – o Luizão – idealizador do projeto que ganhou notoriedade e virou sinônimo de celebração e orgulho da cultura preta. Os bailes realizados no antigo Palestra Itália (atual Allianz Parque), foram fundamentais para a criação de um dos principais símbolos da black music do estado de São Paulo, dando identidade e voz a milhares de cidadãos negros que se orgulhavam de pertencer a algo tão significativo para a época. Para celebrar os 50 anos de história dos bailes “Chic Show”, um festival que traz Lauryn Hill, a rainha da black music, comemorando 26 anos de um dos principais álbuns de sua carreira – “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” e o filho YG Marley, que lançou recentemente o single “Praise Jah in the Moonlight” produzido por Lauryn e em apenas 3 meses já acumula 45 milhões de visualizações, os dois inclusive foram um dos assuntos mais comentados do Coachella, no último dia 14. Ainda no line up especial, Wyclef Jean revivendo os grandes sucessos do grupo Fugees (com Lauryn Hill), Jimmy “Bo” Horne, Mano Brown, Criolo, Rael, Sandra de Sá e os DJs residentes que fizeram história na época: Luciano, Grandmaster Ney e Preto Faria
